Foodpanda is a global food delivery marketplace that is headquartered in Germany and spans 24 countries. CRED was tasked with promoting Foodpanda’s website and app in Hong Kong to both consumers and investors.
To help build Foodpanda’s reputation in a city that loves food, we designed and organized a panda-themed launch party attended by media and bloggers. Decorations at the event included panda balloons, panda cupcakes and panda cocktails.
We successfully secured over 50 articles in media outlets such as Apple Daily (Hong Kong’s second best-selling newspaper), CNBC, and Hong Kong’s two biggest television networks TVB and RTHK. As a result, the number of downloads for Foodpanda’s app increased by 348 percent.
