CRED was tasked with spreading the word about the Scottish government’s week-long fashion and textile event at PMQ in Hong Kong.
We helped promote Scotland’s vibrant fashion industry by organising a media tour of the fashion and textile exhibitors and hosting a VIP night where designers networked with media, buyers, leaders of industry, designers and consumers. We also organised for Harris Tweed designer Elizabeth Martin from Scotland to deliver a workshop at the Savannah College of Art and Design.
SR:D received full-page coverage on top Chinese newspaper Ming Pao and was also featured on major TV network Cable TV, international style and fashion magazines Jessica, Elle, Men’s Uno, Style by Asia and many more media outlets. The print and online media campaign had a total reach of 4.7 million, while the social media campaign reached around 1.5 million, with over 6000 people actively engaging with the posts.
